mister pink's top 10 albums late 2004/2005

this has to be the hardest thing to do in life - a best album, band, song list. yupp.

and of course, precisely because beauty lies in the ears and brains of the listener,
here i am suffering from mulitple personality disorder, rearranging memories, aftertastes, at first listen delights and multiple listen pleasures. help! help! help!

you know the best part?? you can now officially torture yourself every second of the day, every day of the year; the lists will never end. thank god.

the sweet music crew cordially invites you to rate and compare your dope, weigh up your feelings and emotions, slash away at extras, only keep the best. so you will remember....
if lists are your thing that is.........................................................................................................

so here goes, and trust me, it is painful for me just to decide, i might/will change my mind in a bit
i think.....

1. interpol - antics album of the year

2. arcade fire - funeral indie's new messiah. excrutiatingly beautiful.

3. bloc party - silent alarm this album destroys. be warned.

4. sufjan stevens - illinois singer/songwriting at its best

5. clap your hands say yeah - clap your hands say yeah a chirpier arcade fire, crazy, fun, colourful, amazing

6. the get up kids - the get up kids live! @ the granada theater their last show. concreted their god status

7. the killers - hot fuss important album, rocks everybody's boat, even if they dont admit it

8. bloc party - silent alarm remixed if silent alarm didn't exist, this would be album of the year, easily, maybe contending for album of the decade

9. hot hot heat - elevator new melodies, dripping with ska like harmony and exceptional tunes

10. the stills - logic will break your heart what's going on over in canada?? we gotta go and check the canadian gig scene dudes and dudettes! the stills are fucking awesome!
