a classic from a classic band. yo la tengo is spanish for "i've got it!". serious.
an indie band whos been making music for almost 20years now. last year they put out a sort-of greatest hits double CDs, "Prisoners of Love: A Smattering of Scintillating Senescent Songs: 1985-2003". this is a song from the CDs. i love it. check it out.


glasgow mega snake - mogwai

post rock band mogwai is from glasgow, scotland. and here is a song about a hugh snake they found in their hometown. i think. something from their new album, "mr. beast". just out earlier this month. this time round their songs are much shorter, more straight to the point, right upto your face. beware...

portland, oregon band charmparticle has hint of a mixture of my bloody valentine n slowdive. swirling melodies, thick layers of guitars, and plenty of reverb and delay. nice shoegazing. this is a track from their 2004 release "sit down for staying".

havent had a clue about them. just happened to bump into this track over at sixeyes. anyone knows anything?
