About I Am David Sparkle

I Am David Sparkle started out as an improvisational band in 2001 and was one of the first bands to play instrumental and post-rock music in Singapore.

The band writes music that draws inspiration from life, love and beauty, and invites the listener to explore the depths of human emotion.

I Am David Sparkle was awarded “Best Alternative Act” at the 2006 Motorola Super Style Music Awards, and has shared festival stages with international acts such as Copeland (USA), Furniture (Malaysia) at BayBeats 2005,
Agrikulture (Indonesia), Jurassic5 (USA), The Beastie Boys (USA) at Good Vibrations 2007. At Recharge Revelation 5 Global Gathering 2007, they performed at the festival with artistes like Simian Mobile Disco (UK), Futon (Thailand) and Pop Shuvit
(Malaysia) amongst many others.

I Am David Sparkle comprises Amran Khamis and Djohan Johari on guitar, Farizwan Fajari on bass and Zahir Zanosi on drums.



The band released their new album in Malaysia last Saturday at the Recharge Revelation 5 Global Gathering 2007, “Europe's biggest dance music festival”.

The new cd will be available in Singapore on 7th November 2007 at Straits Records

Radiohead's 7th and latest album is coming out in a weeks time. It isn't free but it doesn't cost anything either. It's up to you. Really.

It'll be called In Rainbows and consists of 10 tracks. Digital downloads will be available from 10th October 2007 and the price will be up to you. Really.
